Floor cleaning in Music Building - Main hallways in classroom areas were cleaned and polished. Some clean up work was being wrapped up at 8:00 am around class start. (F & S)

Faculty concern was raised regarding classroom tech workers overlapping scheduled music courses. Classroom tech is unable to access SoM calendaring, which may cause an occasional overlap.
Student reported trumpet missing from personal locker. Student was furnished with a loaner. Investigation started @ 9:25 am. Missing trumpet was located at 1:30pm and returned to its owner. (Mandel)
Card swipe reported with issues. Wahls/Mandel troubleshooting ongoing.
Events office received a request for stands at 11:10 am in Smith Memorial Room for 11:00 am clarinet studio class. Issue was researched and resolved on Tuesday, September 17.

F & S replaced all bearings in Smith Recital Hall and installed a new brush kit. Motor remains too loud with recurring dry frequency. F & S will reprogram VFD, and will replace full motor. Water pump repairs still pending.
IP phones are malfunctioning throughout the School of Music. Chad Wahls is investigating replacement of current models for significant troubleshooting cost savings.
Worked on procedures for Smith Hall water softener(s). For winterization/humidity control. (Wahls)
Harding Band Building roof reported leaking. F & S installed a temporary patch. Patch was unsuccessful, and further repairs to the roof is pending.
Scheduling for Recital Hall (Smith) to repair projector and stage right speakers with Class-Tech. To help eliminate conflicts with SoM classes and events. (Wahls)
Mis-communication between IT and faculty member resulted in investigation of stolen computers. No computers were stolen and mis-communication was resolved.
Additional fuses ordered. For Professor Moersch/percussion department. (Wahls)
