PROPERTIES ACCOUNT APPLICATION
The School of Music Properties Account is how we keep track of equipment and keys.
We ask that you fill out Properties Room Account and Authorization Form. We need this to create your account and check items out to you.
Please bring confirmation of registration and your Student ID to Music Building 0330.
You only need to fill this form out once.

By electing to create your School of Music Properties Account you agree to the following:
Keys
Etiquette –
Late, stolen, non-returned keys –
You must return any checked-out item upon request. Failure to do so may result in a fine or hold issued to your student account, depending on the value of the item.
Keys
- A deposit is not required for keys for practice rooms, labs, and equipment.
Etiquette –
- Abide by the Student Code of Conduct.
- Follow all School of Music established policies and procedures.
- Treat colleagues and facilities with respect, kindness, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to building hours.
- Do not use facilities for private monetary gain.
- Clean/straighten up after yourself.
- Abstain from illegal activities.
Late, stolen, non-returned keys –
- Keys that are not renewed or returned will incur a fine for each day late.
- After 30 days, items become lost/stolen property. Lost/stolen key charges will apply. Due dates ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BORROWER.
- Reassignment of SoM property is not allowed.
- Reassignment may cause cost and liability implications to the borrower.
- Student borrower responsibility under this agreement remains with the borrower.
